TESTIMONIALS FROM FLOWER ESSENCES SUPPORT IN HOSPICE

"Matt's dad has really taken a turn for the worse, and it looks like he may be in his last stages. He has been in and out of lucidity, and tonight he had an “anxiety attack,” which he has had periodically over the last week or so. He was really uncomfortable on a lot of different levels. This had been going on for about 15 minutes – and I remembered the flower essence remedy. Matt proceeded to put the remedy on his dad's hand, and the moment he rubbed it on his hand, Matt's dad exclaimed, "Hmmm - that feels good!" (He didn't even know that Matt was putting flower essences on his hand) – he then took a deep breath and said, "oh, the horses are coming to get me now," and promptly fell peacefully asleep.” Nina Hart, Santa Fe, New Mexico

“The treatment of people that are near death is a subject rarely discussed in mainstream America and yet the hospice industry is always doing what it can to bring comfort to those who need it.  Having had Jane’s Flower Essence attention over the last few months I am reminded of the discoveries of the Alzheimer’s Poetry movement.  As we grow older we tend to remember our innocence and memories become more significant than the demands of everyday reality.  Jane’s focus, along with the Flower Essences, pays specific attention to these first impressions in a way that contemporary therapy completely overlooks, just as the Alzheimer poetry people discovered that nursery rhymes repeated to forgetful adults often brought forth bursts of clarity.  The new found clarity could often be directed to reconciliation and renewal.

Jane does everything within her power to help one become more comfortable with oneself, and it is a calling that anyone would be more fortunate to receive.” Thomas Vorce, Santa Fe, New Mexico

“Your hospice program is wonderful. I was there almost every day, for three weeks, to spend some time with my sister and her young family. Your staff is wonderful and caring. I knew my sister was ‘Home’ when I was there when Dr. Warshel gave her the flower essences and read the paper that described how it would help her. Her face glowed and she was relaxed and peaceful – for the first time in a very, very long time. Thank you for that.” Family member of a Windber hospice patient, Windber Hospice, Windber, Pennsylvania

“Since using the flower essences, several patients have made comments to me that they have seen “angels,” and they are always smiling when they say that.  One male patient was very quiet and didn’t talk to the staff, but as soon as Dr. Warshel came and sat with him and gave him the flower essences, he would talk to her and smile at her.” Chris Thomas, RN, Windber Hospice, Windber Pennsylvania

“Twenty-one months ago, (August, 2005) my beautiful Mother, Mary Patricia Dwyer, died. During the final months of her life, she was under the gentle, loving care of Hospice. Mom had decided that she wanted to die at home, so each of her eleven children took our turn in caring for her in the dining room of her home, where Hospice had so generously provided a hospital bed.

All of her medications, plus a weekly visit from a Nurse and a Catholic Priest were provided by Hospice. I can remember seeing her medications lined up on top of the piano. I felt reassured to see the Flower Essence bottle along side all the prescriptions and emergency drugs. For me, it was a reminder of the life, death, life process and it gave me hope for her personal resurrection. She was ready and willing to meet Jesus and she looked forward to reuniting with her family members who had gone before her.

I was familiar with Flower Essences because I had been taking them with success for several months. When Jane Ellen graciously offered to prepare a blend for my Mother that would help her transition from this world to the next, I willingly said yes. I explained to my Mother that this Blend was especially and individually prepared for her by someone I trusted with my whole heart, and I began giving Mom her Flower Essence immediately.

Everyday I would give her the Flower Essence Blend. She would open her mouth like a little bird drinking in the purest of nectar from the beautiful vibrations of natural flowers. I felt as if I was giving her Communion. I would ask her how the Blend made her feel? She told me, "It makes me feel happy."

Mom made a peaceful, beautiful transition into death. I am confident that the Flower Essence Blend, prepared by Jane Ellen was one of the components of that smooth transition for both of us. I was also peaceful because of the Blend that had been prepared for me.

Prior to Mom dying, I had asked her to give me a sign from the other side to let me know that she was OK. She looked at me with her dying blue eyes and said: "I will if I can, Darling." On a cold Winter morning months after her death, I was walking through the back porch of her home when out of nowhere came this beautiful fragrance of flowers. I cried because I knew it was Mom telling me that she was fine.

Jane Ellen is a knowledgeable, loving, Practitioner of Flower Essences. I would encourage others to consider her expertise and wisdom. I will be forever grateful to her, Hospice, and the many others who helped birth my mother into death. My heart is so very grateful.” Michelle Burke, St. Paul, Minnesota
